The Atelier was created as a celebration of fashion, creativity, and self-expression within Final Fantasy XIV.Designed with both creators and collectors in mind, The Atelier offers a refined way to curate outfits, organize required mods, share creations, and discover new inspiration. Each look becomes more than a collection of items. It becomes a carefully preserved piece of artistry.Our goal is to make outfit sharing feel beautiful, thoughtful, and accessible while giving creators the space to present their work with care. The Atelier continues to grow through community feedback, ongoing development, and a shared love for the creativity found throughout Eorzea.Every outfit tells a story.The Atelier gives it a place to be remembered.

Effective Date: July 1, 2026These Terms and Conditions govern your access to and use of The Atelier plugin, its connected services, community features, website, and related resources.By downloading, installing, accessing, or using The Atelier, you confirm that you have read and agree to these Terms. Please do not use The Atelier if you do not agree with them.
01. About The Atelier
The Atelier is an independently developed, community-made plugin designed to support outfit organization, creative sharing, mod attribution, and fashion discovery within Final Fantasy XIV.The Atelier is not affiliated with, sponsored by, approved by, or endorsed by Square Enix Holdings Co., Ltd., Square Enix Co., Ltd., Final Fantasy XIV, XIVLauncher, Dalamud, Penumbra, or the developers of any third-party modification linked through the plugin.All associated trademarks, game assets, names, and intellectual property belong to their respective owners.
02. Third-Party Tool Notice
The Atelier is a third-party tool used through the Dalamud plugin framework.Square Enix currently states that the use of third-party tools in Final Fantasy XIV is prohibited and may result in suspension or permanent account action. You are solely responsible for deciding whether to install or use The Atelier and for understanding the rules that apply to your Final Fantasy XIV account.The Atelier cannot guarantee that using the plugin will be undetectable, permitted, safe from account action, or compatible with future versions of Final Fantasy XIV, Dalamud, Penumbra, or XIVLauncher.You use The Atelier entirely at your own discretion and risk.
03. Eligibility
You must be legally capable of agreeing to these Terms in your jurisdiction.Users under the age of legal majority should obtain permission from a parent or legal guardian before using The Atelier.Any area, outfit, preview, or community feature designated as mature or NSFW is restricted to users who are at least 18 years old.
04. Acceptable Use
You agree to use The Atelier responsibly and only for lawful, personal, and community-oriented purposes.You may use The Atelier to:
Organize and document outfits
Create outfit previews
Share outfit information
Identify required mods and their original sources
Browse community-submitted creations
Save or apply supported outfit information
Participate in connected community features
Your use of The Atelier must not interfere with the game experience, privacy, safety, or rights of another person.
05. Prohibited Conduct
You may not use The Atelier to upload, distribute, promote, link to, or facilitate:
Malware, spyware, viruses, credential stealers, or harmful files
Mods intentionally disguised as different content
Stolen, reuploaded, leaked, or paywall-bypassed content
Content that infringes copyrights, trademarks, licenses, or creator permissions
Fraudulent, misleading, or deliberately inaccurate mod links
Harassment, stalking, threats, impersonation, or targeted abuse
Hate speech or content promoting violence or discrimination
Personal or identifying information shared without permission
Sexual content involving or depicting minors
Nonconsensual sexual content or exploitative material
Illegal content or activity
Real-money trading involving Final Fantasy XIV accounts, currency, or prohibited services
Attempts to exploit, reverse engineer, damage, overload, or disrupt The Atelier’s services
Automated activity intended to manipulate likes, favorites, rankings, downloads, or visibility
Attempts to bypass moderation, access restrictions, suspensions, or bans
The Atelier may remove content or restrict access when conduct creates a safety, legal, technical, or community risk.
06. Outfit Submissions and Required Mod Links
When submitting an outfit, you are responsible for providing accurate information, including the outfit name, mod names, creator attribution, source URLs, content warnings, and any required dependencies. In good faith.You must link to an authorized source whenever one is available.Submitting a mod name or source link does not give you ownership of that mod. You remain responsible for following the original creator’s permissions, licensing terms, paywall rules, and usage restrictions.The Atelier may remove or correct submissions that contain broken links, misleading information, unsafe downloads, stolen work, missing attribution, or unauthorized mirrors.
07. User Content
You retain ownership of original screenshots, descriptions, outfit arrangements, and other content you create and submit.By submitting content to The Atelier, you grant The Atelier a nonexclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to store, process, reproduce, resize, display, and distribute that content only as reasonably necessary to:
Operate the plugin and its connected services
Display your submission within The Atelier
Create thumbnails and previews
Moderate or investigate reports
Promote The Atelier and its community
Maintain backups and technical records
This license ends when your content is deleted, except where limited copies must temporarily remain in backups, moderation records, legal records, or previously published promotional materials.You confirm that you have the necessary rights and permissions to submit the content you provide.
08. Screenshots and Character Information
Outfit previews may include Final Fantasy XIV characters, environments, equipment, poses, mods, and other visual elements.Do not submit screenshots containing another person’s private information without permission. Character names should be hidden or removed when consent to display them has not been obtained.The Atelier may crop, resize, compress, or create thumbnails from submitted images for technical and display purposes.
09. Mature and NSFW Content
Mature content must be accurately marked as NSFW and may only appear within areas that require an adult-content opt-in.Users must not attempt to bypass mature-content filters or expose mature content to users who have not chosen to view it.The Atelier may reject or remove mature content that:
Is not correctly labeled
Appears to involve a minor or minor-presenting character
Depicts nonconsensual or exploitative conduct
Violates applicable law
Violates hosting-provider or platform requirements
Creates an unreasonable risk to the project or community
Marking content as NSFW does not guarantee that it will be accepted or remain available.
10. Third-Party Mods and Websites
The Atelier may display links to third-party mod pages, creator profiles, websites, repositories, or download services.These resources are operated independently. The Atelier does not control and is not responsible for their availability, security, accuracy, privacy practices, content, pricing, or files.A link appearing within The Atelier does not represent an endorsement or guarantee.Before downloading anything, you should verify the source, review the creator’s instructions, scan files where appropriate, and maintain backups of your own configurations.
11. Aetherweave Codes and Shared Data
Aetherweave codes and similar sharing features are provided for convenience. They may contain outfit configuration data, mod references, identifiers, or other information required to recreate a submitted look.You are responsible for reviewing the contents and required mods before applying shared data.The Atelier does not guarantee that every shared code will remain complete, compatible, safe, or functional after updates to the game, plugin, mod, or connected service.
12. Accounts and Community Access
Certain features may require authentication through Discord or another supported account provider.You are responsible for maintaining the security of your connected account and for activity performed through it.You may not impersonate another user, share access for the purpose of evading enforcement, or create additional accounts to bypass a restriction.Access to the Discord community is governed by both these Terms and the rules posted within the server.
13. Moderation and Enforcement
The Atelier may review, hide, reject, edit, restrict, or remove submitted content when reasonably necessary to enforce these Terms or protect the community.Possible actions include:
Issuing a warning
Correcting or removing a listing
Restricting upload or social features
Temporarily suspending access
Permanently banning an account
Blocking connected accounts or identifiers
Reporting unlawful conduct to an appropriate platform or authority
Moderation decisions may consider context, severity, repeated conduct, safety concerns, and available evidence.The Atelier is not required to provide advance notice before acting against urgent, dangerous, illegal, or clearly prohibited content.
14. Reports and Appeals
Users may report unsafe, stolen, misleading, or prohibited content through the official reporting system or Discord community.Reports should be made honestly and include enough information for the concern to be reviewed.Knowingly submitting false, retaliatory, or abusive reports may itself result in moderation.Where an appeal process is available, submitting an appeal does not guarantee that a decision will be reversed.
15. Sponsorships and Contributions
Sponsorships and voluntary contributions help support development, hosting, moderation, maintenance, and community resources.Unless expressly stated otherwise:
Contributions are voluntary
Contributions do not purchase ownership or control of The Atelier
Contributions do not guarantee a requested feature
Contributions do not grant moderation authority
Sponsor benefits may change or end
Contributions are nonrefundable except where required by law
Sponsorship does not exempt anyone from these Terms or community rules.
16. Updates and Availability
The Atelier may be changed, updated, suspended, discontinued, or temporarily unavailable at any time.Game updates, Dalamud API changes, third-party service interruptions, security concerns, maintenance, or limited development resources may affect availability.No guarantee is made that a particular feature, submission, code, integration, or version will remain available indefinitely.
17. No Warranty
The Atelier is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis.To the fullest extent permitted by law, no warranties are made regarding:
Availability or uninterrupted operation
Compatibility with the game or other software
Accuracy of user-submitted information
Safety of third-party files or links
Preservation of submissions or settings
Protection from account penalties
Fitness for a particular purpose
Freedom from defects, errors, or security vulnerabilities
You should maintain backups of any important data or configuration.
18. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, The Atelier’s creator, contributors, moderators, sponsors, and community staff will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the plugin.This includes, without limitation:
Final Fantasy XIV account warnings, suspensions, or bans
Lost characters, items, settings, files, or configurations
Mod conflicts or corrupted installations
Malware or unsafe third-party downloads
Loss of access to third-party content
Disputes between users and mod creators
Service interruptions or data loss
Reliance on inaccurate user-submitted information
Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded.
19. Responsibility for Claims
You agree to take responsibility for claims, losses, or expenses resulting from content you submit, rights you violate, unlawful activity you conduct, or intentional misuse of The Atelier.This provision applies only to the extent permitted by applicable law.
20. Termination
You may stop using The Atelier at any time by uninstalling the plugin and discontinuing access to its connected services.The Atelier may suspend or terminate access when a user violates these Terms, threatens the project or community, creates legal or security risk, or repeatedly interferes with service operation.Sections concerning intellectual property, user responsibility, warranties, liability, and dispute handling may continue to apply after termination.
21. Changes to These Terms
These Terms may be revised as The Atelier develops or as legal, technical, hosting, or community requirements change.The updated version will include a revised effective date. Continued use after updated Terms become effective constitutes acceptance of those changes where permitted by law.Material changes may also be announced through the official website, plugin, or Discord community.
22. Applicable Law
To the extent permitted by law, these Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Ohio, United States, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.Users may also have mandatory rights under the laws of the country, state, or region where they reside. These Terms do not remove rights that cannot legally be waived.
23. Severability
If any part of these Terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue to apply. The unenforceable provision will be interpreted or limited as closely as possible to its original purpose.
